At our last meeting I asked those assembled where they would prefer to go for the next social lunch and the majority voted for a return to the Restormel Lodge. So, now the Reunion is behind us, I have booked the Restormel for the 11 September. The price difference between 2 and 3 courses was only £1 so I’ve gone for 3 courses.

A quick heads up for Christmas – I’ve booked the Duke of Cornwall in Plymouth for Saturday 11 December. Please put the date in your diaries.

Those of you who have been to the Restormel before will recall it is very easy to find with a railway station a few minutes’ walk away and the hotel itself right alongside the main road through Lostwithiel. There is a large car park to the rear and if you prefer to avoid the steps up to the hotel from the car park, you can stop outside and come in the "front". There will be a raffle so if you have any items you feel you could donate we’d be very pleased to accept them.

DATE: Saturday 11 September 2010 at 1200 for drinks and lunch at 1300 hours.

COST: £16.00 per head. This is for a 3 course lunch and includes tea/coffee at the end. Monies and choices to be remitted to Social Sec, Jan Reid by Friday 3 September 2010.
